Q&A with the Communications Manager and Project Manager at Dypång Management, the organisers of Aarhus Fashion Week

Lisbeth Kierkegaard og Stine Borggaard

What can exhibitors and visitors expect from Aarhus Fashion Week?
Visitors can expect a lively sales fair. The exhibitors have good relationships with each other and look forward to gathering in one place – there’s often laughter, comfort and networking, both at the stands and in the coffee bar. Despite the lively atmosphere, exhibitors ensure that visitors get dedicated time and tranquillity to review new collections and place orders. This creates an efficient buying experience where visitors this year can place their orders in one place without needing to plan for travel time.

Why did you choose to consolidate the fair?
In close collaboration with our current exhibitors, we constantly strive to improve Aarhus Fashion Week. By bringing all brands to one location, we aim to make the buying process more efficient for visitors. It allows visitors to plan a whole day of shopping in one place, where free parking, catering, inspiration and buying await them, and they can discover a wide range within fashion, shoes, accessories and home decor.

Are you doing anything different in connection with the new location?
The location is new, but the concept remains the same. Our values and approach follow us to the new address. With increased capacity, we are intensifying lounge and bar areas to create an even cozier and more interactive environment.

The last fair was fully booked – what is the reason behind your success?
We experience strong support for having a sales fair in Jutland. The feedback from both exhibitors and visitors is that Aarhus Fashion Week manages to create the necessary framework for effective sales meetings. The location, community, catering, service and atmosphere are key elements that contribute to the fair’s success.
