Première Vision Paris launches its new schedule with a hybrid event in July to accompany the creation of the autumn winter 23/24 collections: a physical show (5-7 July in Villepinte) and a Digital Show (4-8 July on its website and marketplace).
Gilles Lasbordes, General Manager of Première Vision, tell us more:
“We are preparing for this new edition of Première Vision Paris with optimism but also precaution.
This show is the first in our new schedule, planned for 2020 but postponed due to the health situation. Changing the dates is always a challenge for an international event like ours. But it’s a well-considered choice that we have anticipated and prepared, and that meets the expectations of our exhibitors and visitors. We are delighted to launch this new agenda, the collections of our exhibitors will be ready and the creation will be here!
The health situation is improving in the world, allowing, with some exceptions, greater flexibility in travel. Last February, Europeans returned to the show in large numbers. We hope now to see the return of non-European visitors.
Our offer is again progressing this season, with 1,190 companies from 44 countries (vs 900 in Sept.21). Our offer is always selective, creative and innovative, but also increasingly eco-produced. The entire industry is now concerned by these changes, and our system is being strengthened again to help engage the entire industry in this fundamental movement towards more responsible and ethical fashion. This commitment is the foundation of our future initiatives.
However, we are also cautious as the international situation remains unpredictable due to the war in Ukraine. Political instability has economic consequences, and we are experiencing an unprecedented level of inflation. The fashion industry is facing supply difficulties and an increase in raw material and energy prices.
In this context, companies need more than ever to meet and exchange ideas to find solutions together. In terms of supply, fashion information and inspiration, programming, or even tools and content, PV Paris is ready to welcome and accompany industry professionals at the Villepinte show, as well as online on our marketplace, which integrates new functions to optimize the sourcing experience and facilitate networking.”
