How do dispose your buying process for the AW 24/25 season? How can a trade fair like CIFF contribute to your work as a shop owner? What does it take for an exhibitor to catch your attention? These are the questions TØJ has asked the two shops, Little Reshop in Horsens and Cadovius in Herning.

Anne Mette Christensen

Owner of Little Reshop in Horsens

How do you buy for the AW 24/25 season?

I have meetings with my suppliers, where I can see and feel the new collections. I rely a lot on my gut feeling and my experience. In addition, I look for a common thread through the new season, so I can select the best assortment for my customers.

How can a trade fair like CIFF contribute to your work as a shop owner?

The fair can inspire and provide an overview of upcoming trends, colours and new brands for the new season. Additionally, it’s great to meet physically with some of the brands I both know and don’t know in advance.

What does it take for an exhibitor to catch your attention?

I am attracted to their universe and thereby become curious about the brand. The aesthetics must appeal to me naturally, as I am very visual.

Trine Mosegaard

CEO of Cadovius in Herning

How do you buy for the AW 24/25 season?

For the AW 24/25 season, I will be buying more price-consciously for my shop.

How can a trade fair like CIFF contribute to your work as a shop owner?

CIFF inspires me, especially this year where everything has been consolidated again. I notice who is participating, how they have chosen to approach the season and the identity of the different brands.

What does it take for an exhibitor to catch your attention?

If there are many people at the same stand, it catches my attention. Because then the talk is about which brand can attract so many. I have also done my homework beforehand and, for example, looked on Instagram to see which brands are new or on the rise again, so I know what I should keep an eye on at the fair.
